When most people are asked to wear “church attire,” they opt for a plain skirt, a shoulder-covering cardigan, and practical shoes. When Hailey Bieber got dressed for church last night, she made a beeline for a fuzzy sleeveless turtleneck.
Bieber wore an unconventional outfit to the ceremony at Churchome – which counts Lana Del Rey, Selena Gomez and Kourtney Kardashian as celebrity members. She paired the furry black top with black pants, black glove flats with a square upper, slim sunglasses and a black leather handbag.
While bare shoulders certainly wouldn’t be popular in many churches, it’s far from “suitable” for Bieber’s craziest worship. In November 2023, she tried out a pant-less outfit, wearing an oversized sweater paired with knee-high pointed-toe boots. The following month, she opted for a crop top paired with low-rise pants and a full-length top matrix-Style leather jacket.
Although Hailey Bieber seems to be ditching her shocking church looks lately, she’s still finding a way to subvert traditional conservative dress codes. But hey, this isn’t an ordinary church; cool Church – why not show a little shoulder?
