Earlier in the weekend, Fanning also attended the Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards. Here, Fanning finally chose to wear a “special” vintage dress that she said she bought “a few years ago.” It was a move to pull the dress from her own archives – a striking ice-blue 1950s gown with an off-the-shoulder neckline that formed a soft V-shape around her collarbone. The skirt also features a delicate little belt in an A-line shape. Paired with an orange-red lip (styled by Erin Ayanian Monroe) and a side-swept updo (styled by Jenda Alcorn), it gave a beautifully nostalgic and sophisticated feel that emphasized Fanning’s sublime Old Hollywood aesthetic.
