Who among us doesn’t have a sparkly dress hanging in the back of our closet year round? Luckily, Ayo Edebiri has found a styling trick that gives our prettiest dresses more time in the sun.
Today, the actors came to the recording site landscape In – what else? ——Chanel. Fittingly, Edebiri chose a look from Matthieu Blazy’s 2026 Métiers d’art show in New York: a midi skirt with an inverted cityscape print, its shimmering skyline now forming an asymmetrical hem.
But instead of opting for the same bold top, Edebiri took the statement skirt look down a few notches, which she took from the fashion show (which took place on a subway platform, of all places). For her top, she chose a plain quarter-zip sweater, half-finished revealing a white T-shirt underneath. Yep, that’s right: Edebiri makes even the most basic finance guy clothing (short of a puffer vest) a stylish endeavor worth considering. She kept her look high-low, juxtaposing dressy silver pointed-toe pumps with a casual white East-West shoulder bag and sporty wrap-around sunglasses.
