One of the hottest makeup trends of the year is celebrity makeup artist Nina Park’s blurred lip look, which has been making its way onto the red carpet, especially at the SAG Actors Awards where we saw actors, producers, cinematographers, and more swooning over the blurred lip trend.
“It’s super easy,” says makeup artist Katie Jane Hughes Fashion early this year. Getting the look is easy too. Start with “a little bit of bronzer and really work it into your brush,” she recommends. “Then apply bronzer around your mouth to create a bronzed halo.”
This softly diffused lip liner (as opposed to the defined lip lines we’ve been craving for seasons past) gives lips a plump, super-soft look. From there, you can apply the lipstick color of your choice — but everyone at the SAG Actors Awards opted for a ’90s-inspired nude shade.
