As always, it’s as much about celebrity beauty as it is about the makeup artists, hairstylists, and manicurists, and the creators who create trends that can be seen everywhere.
This week’s best beauty looks are getting pretty and pastel: icy blues, gauzy pinks, cool-toned silvers. Contours were icy, dark eyeliner contrasted with minimal glitter patterns, and lips were either a matte nude or a shimmery cream. One of them is Millie Bobby Brown, who celebrated her birthday with a Marie Antoinette-inspired photo shoot for her beauty brand, Florence By Mills, where she went for pastels and wore her hair high. Marina Diamandis (aka MARINA) ditched her eyelashes and used the rest of her eye makeup to create an ’80s-inspired look. Devon Lee Carlson wore soft blue eyeshadow and pink lips for a night out in London with Burberry.
It was also a week for some really, really good hair: Bows were made from hair and clips to secure curls were reserved for the Fendi show. Gracie Abrams and boyfriend Paul Mescal on the BAFTA red carpet wearing raven Bixie.
