Since Meghan Markle and Prince Harry left London in 2020, she has become synonymous with California casual meets Montecito minimalism, rather than the formal separates and coat-dresses that royal women typically rely on when attending overseas events. This week, the Duchess of Sussex joined Harry on a two-day visit to Jordan at the invitation of the World Health Organization, where she opted for a more relaxed approach.
During their two-day trip, which saw the Sussexes visit the Za’atari refugee camp and meet injured children evacuated from Gaza, the duchess swapped her skinny jeans and neutral cashmere for a cream tailoring: a tweed suit by Veronica Beard. The next day, she played soccer with kids at QuestScope Youth Center in a khaki tracksuit paired with a lightweight cotton shirt, paired with a pair of on-trend boat shoes.
