Monse Fall 2026 Ready-to-Wear Collection

Mons is in a state of transition. Designers Fernando Garcia and Laura Kim are completing their ninth year at the helm of Oscar de la Renta. The Monse project they co-founded during their tenure at ODLR sometimes felt like a passion project, even as the brand gained more recognition.

In the fall, the pair released a trailer for their new vision. They are in their final days at ODLR and noted that the resort will be showcasing a more mature transitional version before returning to the runway in the fall. One might say that over the past decade, their creative aesthetics have been siled: ODLR focused on evening wear and classic feminine patterns, while Monse was born out of deconstructed suiting.

In this collection, a fusion of the two emerged, with a windblown bustier filled with flowers and a blazer-shirt worn with matching deconstructed suit shorts. Both concepts were epitomized by checkered slip dresses with lace hems—London’s grunge aesthetic was a constant source of inspiration. A new Mons will take shape from here.
