The artists in this exhibition were selected through the “Women by Women” global open call, and they present diverse thoughts on femininity through a female perspective.

Featuring works selected through an open call in the East and Southeast Asia Panorama region, the exhibition reflects the richness and diversity of the region’s cultural and artistic landscape. These projects explore identity, tradition and contemporary issues through fashion storytelling, documentary practice and deeply personal narratives.

The curated section for Women by Women at PhotoVogue Festival brings together moving image works by female and queer directors that explore intimacy, desire, self-expression and resistance.

Curated by Sofia Kouloukouri and Alexios Seilopoulos, P&D features works by renowned artists such as Nan Goldin, Romy & Laure, Vivienne Dick and May Ziadé.

A series of slides, videos and visual contributions from organizations and artists working within the visual field and sharing the core values of the festival theme. These projects explore representation, authorship and visibility as tools for advocacy, cultural reflection and social impact, echoing the festival’s wider commitment to women’s voices and self-determination:
