We’re only about a month away from 2026, but Kate Middleton has already been spotted out and about on a number of occasions – first with a surprise visit to London’s Charing Cross station and then heading to Bradford wearing her favorite bun hat and DIY braids. Now, the Princess of Wales visits Melin Tregwynt, a historic woolen mill on the Pembrokeshire coast, known primarily for weaving traditional Welsh double cloth designs.
For the trip, Kate wore a beautifully designed ’60s-style red coat made from Welsh tapestry wool that was a perfect nod to the factory. In terms of inner wear, she dressed smartly and casually, choosing a dark gray turtleneck and gray trousers, showing her usual preference for well-tailored but low-key clothing.

This is not the first time the princess has visited a textile factory. Back in September she visited Sudbury Mill in Suffolk, followed by Marina Mill in Caxton, Kent, which specializes in hand-designed and screen-printed furniture fabrics. Then, just last week, she tried her hand at traditional tartan weaving at the Radical Weavers charity in Stirling, Scotland.
Is the Princess of Wales about to launch her own textile line? Is she going to open a factory? Will she retrain as a weaver? Questions, questions, lots of questions. Only time will tell.
