Ranra Copenhagen Fall 2026 Collection

Ranra delivered a standout and heart-warming fall collection, with colors that looked inviting and delicious, while unstructured tailoring had the lightness of a snowfall. Interestingly, it’s beeswax, a sticky resin-like material that “has a long and useful history in the Nordic region – waterproofing, sealing, protection,” as Arnar Már Jónsson explained in an email, which is where it started. This explains the wax dripping sculptures in the set.

Working between Iceland and England, Jonson and Luke Stevens understood the cold and designed for it. The exaggerated fur-lined hood completes the look in a discreet way and is one of the most weatherproof solutions available. Less eye-catching ways to stay warm include a fur funnel collar and an authentic Icelandic sweater. If the models with their turbans lowered recalled the Moomins from the famous Moomin books, then the unstructured tailoring in the collection was Armani-esque in its ease, softness and tailoring. In terms of design approach, Stevens and Jonsson are interested in working as sustainably as possible and using craftsmanship to create high-performance garments that can work hard without breaking a sweat.
