We’re in the middle of the Fall/Winter 2026 menswear shows in Milan and Paris, so it’s a no-brainer QSamuel Hine, global fashion journalist, joins us penetrate!
Sam is a regular visitor to the menswear industry and writes the popular Q Newsletter shows comments. He shares all the trends, red carpet looks and reveals what he’s most excited about before heading to Milan.
“Ralph’s business has never been bigger,” Hein told Nicole Phelps when discussing Ralph Lauren’s first men’s show in two decades. “In recent years, culture has moved firmly back in the direction of Mr. Laurent, and now Ralph is everywhere.” Other highlights on the Milan calendar include Prada, Zegna and Armani; then there’s 2025 LVMH Prize winner Soshi Otsuki and designer Shinya Kozuka, who is showing at Pitti Uomo in Florence.
Next, in Paris, all eyes were once again on Jonathan Anderson’s Dior. “We can’t stop talking about him, thinking about him, talking about his reasons arrive “I wrote about him because he’s very, very good at keeping people guessing,” Hine said. He wanted to see more of the “academic classicism” we saw at Anderson’s Dior men’s debut in June. Another milestone for the menswear show will be Véronique Nichanian’s last show for Hermès after 37 years as artistic director.
Hine also shared a bit about what’s next QWill Welch, the magazine’s global editorial director, is leaving the magazine on February 15 and has hinted at what to expect from this year’s GQ Bowl.
