Dhaka – The First International Criminal activity Tribunal today imprisoned 15 offering armed forces policemans for 2 instances of enforced loss and a July uprising murder.
The policemans, that were apprehended by the Bangladesh Military, were required to the International Criminal Offense Tribunal (ICT) at around 7:00 am amidst limited safety. Boundary Guard Bangladesh (BGB), Fast Activity Squadron (Rab) and cops were released around the court location. The policemans were carried in an unique eco-friendly jail van with cooling.
The court got all 15 policemans to be sent out to prison after today’s hearing, Principal District attorney Tajul Islam informed press reporters after the hearing.
He included that the federal government and jail authorities would certainly choose in which center the policemans would certainly be positioned.
Their policemans are: Major General Sheikh Md Sarwar Hossen; Brigadier Generals Jahangir Alam, Tofayel Mostofa Sarwar, Kamrul Hasan, Mahbub Alam, Mahbubur Rahman Siddiq and Ahmed Tanvir Majha Siddique; Colonel Anowar Latif Khan, AKM Azad, Abdullah Al Momen and Md Sarwar Container Colonel Kashem; Lieutenant Colonels Md Moshiur Rahman Gem, Saiful Islam Sumon and Mohammad Redowanul Islam; and Significant Rafat container Alam Moon.
The court established November 5 and November 20 as the following hearing days for the murder instance and both enforced loss instances specifically.
Formerly, on October 8, ICT-1 released apprehension warrants for 32 offenders in the event. Amongst them, 25 are energetic and retired armed forces policemans.
The 32 offenders consist of deposed Head of state Sheikh Hasina, previous Inside Priest Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal and 3 previous Raab directors-general.
Hasina and Major General Tariq Ahmed Siddique (retd.), that functioned as her protection and safety advisor, are called as offenders in both instances of enforced loss.
