‘Ace Combat 8’ Gets Extended Gameplay Trailer And Looks Amazing

Following news that Ace Combat 8 The game is set to release this October and has received an extended gameplay trailer that looks very impressive indeed.

In addition to the typical ace air combat Controls, controls, and camera, some nice new additions compared to before Ace Combat 7.

First, you can cause area damage to an enemy, causing collateral damage when the enemy is destroyed. Additionally, this also causes environmental damage, which looks really cool (shown below).

Afterwards, you can issue in-game commands to your wingmen. This is a very important thing and will help you a lot in a tactical sense.

The last thing is that you can do extra damage to non-target parts of the enemy. This seemed to mostly affect your guns, which now seem to be more effective.

You still naturally retain your target view when you hold down the target button, and the camera work looks improved, too.

Overall, there are a lot of nice additions to the core functionality, and I really like what I see here and can’t wait to play the game when it launches.

Likewise, I’m also impressed with the new world narrative photography and making the game’s characters more impactful.

The story also seems more complicated, as the game is set 10 years later Ace Combat 72029. You fight for Ucea’s army again, but the Sotoa Republic is a new enemy.

As is often the case, though, there will likely be some Belkan Task Force involved at some point, and there are some highly advanced fighters hidden away for you to unlock.
