Yesterday, Miley Cyrus received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. In a stirring speech, she quoted from her own song “Walk of Fame,” which ends with the lyrics “You’ll live forever.”
“The star represents immortality in a way, and while I love the lyrics, the fact that I don’t makes my heart tighten,” she said.
“To me, what’s special about this star is that it’s an accumulation of dedication. A star is not something that can be won like a seasonal contest. It’s not something that you chase or collect. It’s not something that you set the next record for,” she said.
“My name is etched in gold and pink terrazzo and it’s fierce and fun and beautiful,” Cyrus continued. “I’m wearing Versace that Donatella hand-picked from the studio archives, which makes everything more fun, more intense, more beautiful.”
Cyrus wore an Atelier Versace Fall 2015 gown – a sexy deep cut that was worn by supermodel Heidi Klum that same year. But this is a gown for a true rock star: The gown—a very revealing gown—was made of strong black mesh material and embroidery, with a criss-cross neckline. She paired it with studded stilettos. Cyrus’ makeup continued with her usual smoky, siren-like look with hazy eyes and nude lips. She had eyebrow-length bangs and messy blond hair.

Cyrus dazzled in poses with her co-stars and even took her fiancé Max Morando out for a few photos.
Miley’s mother Tish Cyrus, sister Brandi, Donatella Versace and Anya Taylor-Joy were also among those who paid tribute to the star. Donatella wore a crisp gold-embellished white mini dress with tall platform boots, while Taylor-Joy opted for showgirl-inspired sequined Bob Mackie and Perspex shoes.
