The Vogue Awards—2026 Cannes Film Festival Edition

There are some awards show looks that set an example for everyone. We’ll never forget Björk’s swan dress, Rihanna wearing thousands of Swarovski crystals and nothing more, or Jennifer Lopez’s plunging Versace dress being the reason for a Google Image search. invented.

Amid the endless annual awards shows — and in this case, film festivals — we find ourselves wondering: Who wears a bubblegum pink Ralph Lauren dress like Gwyneth Paltrow, crosses her legs like Angelina Jolie, and channels innocent energy in a suit (backwards!) like Celine Dion?

While we considered the spiritual sartorial successors on the Oscars and Screen Actors Guild red carpets, Cannes 2026 proved to be something else entirely. With hundreds of celebrities wearing a variety of looks throughout the 12-day festival, we’ve got our work cut out for us.

In fact, the behemoth of the carpet needs new awards: John Travolta and his string of director berets are reminiscent of the eye-catching hats worn by Pamela Anderson at the 1999 VMAs. Kristen Stewart is an avid red carpet rule-breaker, and it’s only right to honor her with her own honour, after her recent pairing of Chanel and Converse on the promenade.

But there are some familiar faces on this episode Fashion Awards. Congratulations to Chloé Zhou, who won her second consecutive Björk Award for Avant-Garde for her spiked, ruffled Schiaparelli puffer dress. And, although Demi Moore won the Cher Showgirl Award last time around, she earned a new spot on our list with her Angelina Jolie-esque slit dress.

Still, there were plenty of newbies crossing our desks: Diego Calva caught our attention in Ferragamo leather pants as he stepped off a plane in Nice; Sandra Hüller promised an exciting awards season fit for a diva in a Chanel porcupine look; Lizzo’s nipple necklace is a no-brainer no Get our attention?

Although not everyone can leave Cannes with the Palme d’Or, Fashion Awards are fair game to all. Below is the latest edition of the Vogue Awards – the 2026 Cannes Film Festival edition.
