Naked? Bella Hadid went topless at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival — that’s innovation, friends!
Two years ago, during the 2024 Cannes Film Festival, Hadid put the final word on the nude conversation of the time when she walked the carpet in a sheer, unimaginable stocking dress by Saint Laurent. A year later, in response to the festival’s new no-nude rule (perhaps inspired by her?), she discovered—Ahem— she wore a barely-there Saint Laurent dress to the opening ceremony, a cheeky workaround. This year, she’s still keeping her rebellious spirit alive.
Although the law prohibiting nudity is allegedly Hadid is still in place (not that it’s stopping guests from stripping off on the Croisette), and he’s stripping his bare clothes off the carpet and onto the streets of the French Riviera. But you can forget about the see-through dress from before – she’s got a new look.

Today in Cannes, Hadid swapped her Riviera cropped pants for something a little more racy: a sheer tie-front long sleeve with a ruffled lettuce collar from Australian vintage dealer Preluvd. This is the Cannes Film Festival, after all, so a little dazzling is in order: the bodice of the top was trimmed with silver sequins, while the sleeves and hem were dripping with beaded fringe. The model paired sheer with sheer, wearing a sheer nude bra underneath her top.
Hadid paired the eye-catching shirt with camel cropped flared pants, a gold coin and pearl necklace, a brown Coach bag, Gucci tortoiseshell sunglasses and matching Jimmy Choo pumps.
