Today is George Clooney’s 65th birthday, and of course, Amal Clooney is ready to celebrate the occasion in style. The couple were spotted on the pier in St. Tropez – one of their favorite vacation spots – arm in arm, wearing their respective summer dress code from their vacations in Provence, Lake Como and beyond.
Pucci’s renaissance was in full swing last summer, with Hailey Bieber wearing a swirling lemon print in Mallorca, where the brand’s annual fashion show in Sicily always attracts stars. Amal has seen this through and wore a complete look on the Spring 2026 runway. (31, to be exact.)
But the lawyer and humanitarian ditched the familiar kaleidoscopic, jet-set Pucci prints, opting instead for a beaded tank top in red, black, orange and pink and a mini skirt with a daring thigh-slit. On her feet she wore casual black boots with matching patterned turn-ons. She paired the outfit with a ruffled black East-West bag and oversized sunglasses. Her dark and caramel hair was as long and thick as ever.
Next to her, birthday boy George stayed true to his style, wearing a black polo top, off-white trousers with a beige belt and sand suede loafers.
This might be the boldest look we’ve seen on Amal Clooney in a while. More often, she’ll hit the red carpet or work the room at a European soiree in a vintage designer gown by Galliano by Dior or Versace, or riff on a mermaid silhouette with a maxi train. But lately, Clooney has been embracing the rising temperatures by wearing some slimmer outfits. While attending the Chaplin Awards in New York last week, she opted for another new Balenciaga look: a grape bubble mini dress.
George’s birthday celebrations culminated at the legendary Club 55, where he enjoyed a sunny lunch with friends at one of the French Riviera’s most iconic beach spots. The day before, Clooney’s actual birthday, the couple spent time on the incredibly unique and stunning Bendor Island off the coast of Bandol.
