This is not a bad answer. But I could have said it better myself. So we did it.

This week, on fashion businesswe’re looking at what’s next for AI in fashion, beauty and luxury goods, collecting 10 articles and corresponding images – all created using human intelligence.

Our tech editor Amy O’Brien sets the scene for us on where artificial intelligence will lead fashion in the next 10 years. Amy has been busy during this time; she also wrote an in-depth article on AI shopping and conducted research Fashion Readers join Maliha Shoaib to discuss their needs for artificial intelligence in fashion. The pair will host a LinkedIn Live later tonight to further reveal the findings.

Maliha, in turn, examines the race for artificial intelligence and its impact on the global luxury market. Elsewhere, Lucy Maguire wonders whether AI will kill the creator economy, while Madeleine Schulz questions whether AI can actually disrupt personal style. Hikmat Mohammed and Bella Webb studied the implications of artificial intelligence for beauty and sustainable development respectively.

Graphically, Niall Wilson, Aurelia Lorimer and cinematographer Shahram Saadat came up with unique concepts for each protagonist, inspired by artificial intelligence but entirely created by humans.

Finally, Hilary Milnes asks what may be my favorite question of the season: Is AI just basic? You couldn’t have come up with this title on ChatGPT, right?
