Zendaya and Robert Pattinson Talk Cardi B, Comedy, and Their Not-So-Cute Meet-Cute in the Latest ‘Off the Cuff’

Zendaya and Robert Pattinson’s excitement drama— the first of three (!) movies they’ll star in together this year — has officially reached its climax. (And for good reason: I mean, look at Zendaya’s press tour style!) So, naturally, we had to catch up with our co-stars to answer a range of questions, from the Millennial to Gen Z divide, to Bluetooth headphones and the latest Cardi B concert. impromptu.

In terms of future roles, Zendaya would very much like to see Pattinson star in a straight-up comedy, though he thinks (not entirely convincingly) drama More or less meets the requirements. (“It’s a commercial comedy! It’s fun for the whole family!”) Both actors agreed that their cute encounter wasn’t actually that cute; they first met on FaceTime while Pattinson was filming batman Zendaya is filming EuphoriaZendaya recalled: “You were on FaceTime with a friend of ours and I said hi and you didn’t have any reaction.” Anyway, Pattinson doesn’t remember the incident at all… but the two are best friends now, so all’s well that ends well!

If you’ve always wanted to hear Pattinson hum the famous theme song from one of his most famous films, you’re in luck, although we won’t spoil which one it is.
