Gird your loins! The Devil Wears Prada 2 Premiere fashion has begun.
Before the film hits the big screen on May 1, stars including Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci will be taking to the red carpet to promote it — which means you can expect plenty of stunning fashion moments from around the world in the coming weeks.
Naturally, expectations were high for the sequel, which came out 20 years after the original. According to the synopsis, the story follows “Miranda Priestley as she navigates her career in the decline of traditional magazine publishing, pitting herself against Blunt’s Emily Charlton – now a senior executive at a luxury goods conglomerate with the advertising revenue Priestley desperately needs.”
In Mexico City, the first stop on the press tour, Streep appeared in a red Dolce & Gabbana suit, while Anne Hathaway chose a fringed Schiaparelli dress with a sculptural gold belt.
