Mulberry was founded in Somerset in 1971 by Roger Saul as a leather goods company, but its roots remain in the county, with two luggage and leather goods factories. The name resonates as a British entity, most recently with the cute, fun, girly shows from former creative directors Stuart Vevers, Emma Hill and Jonny Coca at fashion weeks in the ’90s.
It’s never wise to predict what Kane might do. Unpredictability – the element of surprise he always brings to every series – has always been part of Kane’s creativity. But let’s try it.
