Spring 2026 Designer Debuts: The Biggest New Collections and Pieces to Shop Now

Designers for 2025 are constantly changing, with new appointments announced almost every month, except in April and August. In June, Jonathan Anderson was named creative director of Christian Dior, overseeing the brand’s menswear, womenswear and haute couture operations for the first time in decades since his tenure at Loewe. Just three months ago in March, Proenza Schouler’s Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez announced they were leaving the brand they founded more than 20 years ago and jumped to Paris to take over Anderson’s position at Loewe.

But perhaps no debut has attracted more attention than Matthieu Blazy’s switch from Bottega Veneta to Chanel — and unsurprisingly, the buzz has no plans to stop. His debut collection has finally arrived in stores, with waiting lists and queues likely to stretch into next season.

Now comes the fun part: shopping. With many debut collections hitting stores, this season’s standout pieces are making their way into shopping carts—from treasured accessories (new Bottega bags and Balenciaga shoes) to chic ready-to-wear (think Proenza Schouler’s statement dresses and Celine jeans). This is an honorable mention for both Michael Ryder and Rachel Scott, whose visions continue to influence the conversation, even if their debuts technically come a season earlier — or in Scott’s case, later.

From Simone Bellotti’s Jil Sander to Demna’s Gucci, these Spring 2026 It pieces are destined to become future collectibles—that is, if they aren’t already.

Jonathan Anderson: Dior

Jonathan Anderson has brought his tongue-in-cheek conceptual sensibility to Dior, giving him full helm of the brand for the first time in decades, not to mention his loyal Loewe following, including Harry Styles and Greta Lee. His debut and subsequent collections were unmistakably Anderson-coded — showcasing his mastery of styling, from belted ruffled jackets to super-mini skirts, and his knack for creating the next It accessory (think big buckle belts and ballet flats).

Vogue Runway’s Sarah Mower said it best in her post-show review: “Charming and cute to some, weird and fantastical to others, and plenty of best-sellers in between.” While we wait with bated breath for the new butter-yellow Dior Lady bag to arrive, shop our favorite pieces now (below).
