Just 48 hours after the Oscars and a series of late-night parties, the fashion world is already saying “yes” again. On a sweltering Tuesday evening, Bloomingdale’s CEO Olivier Bron and chief merchant Denise Magid welcomed a crowd at the sleek new Frame headquarters in Beverly Hills, raising a glass in homage to California and its unique style.

The event celebrates the launch of Bloomingdale’s new summer California Love campaign, which pays homage to the Golden State and features more than 270 exclusive pieces across 28 capsule collections, including new arrivals from Vince, Citizens of Humanity, Agolde, Clare V., Staud, Simkhai, Frame and Mother, as well as an exclusive Aqua x Lisa Says Gah collaboration.

When guests arrive in the elevator to the spacious penthouse, they are greeted with champagne and spicy margaritas. These include Zoey Deutch, Rebecca Rittenhouse, Kathryn Gallagher and Kasmere Trice Stanfield, who hang out with Matt Bomer, Sophia Bush and Frame co-founder Jens Grede. Designer Jonathan Simkhai hovered around the room, while models Hilary Rhoda and Staz Lindes were present. DJ Ella Balinska keeps the music and energy loud.

There was substance behind the style, too—the focus of the evening was Baby2Baby; the nonprofit organization at the heart of the event’s community mission. From March 1 to April 30, Bloomingdale’s customers can shop in-store or donate at online checkout to further the work of Baby2Baby, which reaches more than 1 million children annually.

Co-founders Kelly Sawyer and Norah Weinstein were also in attendance, as were Erin and Sara Foster, Baby2Baby board members of women’s clothing brand Favorite Daughter, which also just launched at Bloomingdale’s. Unlike some attendees, the sisters kept their Oscar weekend decidedly low-key. “The kids and I had a watch party at a friend’s house and it was perfect,” Erin Foster told us Fashion. Her sister quickly added context: “You also profiled about 40 celebrities who had pneumonia in the hospital. vanity fair The party a few years ago…”
