Hathaway and hairstylist Orlando Peeta shared a behind-the-scenes video on her Instagram highlighting all the preparations she’s been doing to win her Oscar. (In case you missed it, she was named one of the night’s best-dressed stars, and she had a glamorous moment on stage, only Fashion Global Editorial Director Anna Wintour. )
To create Hathaway’s stylish half-up, half-down hairstyle, Peeta pulled a small section of hair near her temples, braided a short braid—only about an inch long—secured them with an elastic band, and pulled them back.
“And you look a little more awake,” Hathaway said, laughing. “That’s the trick.”
