Tonight, the 2026 Academy Awards will be an especially exciting night for the Oscars Korean Demon Hunter Singer Aij. Not only does the Korean star perform alongside Demon Hunters Audrey Nuna and Rei Ami, but she also received two nominations, including Best Original Song (for their hit “Golden”) and Best Animated Film. “It means a lot to us to be nominated,” Eja told us Fashion Just days before the 98th Academy Awards take place tonight. “It’s such an honor and something I never dreamed of doing. I’m trying to turn that nervousness into excitement.”
Before tonight’s show, Fashion Headed to West Hollywood earlier this weekend to watch Ejae’s final Oscar fitting. The star collaborated with creative directors Jeffrey Jin and Theo Song on a custom Dior look designed by Jonathan Anderson. You could tell she went for gold: the strapless gold sequined gown featured black floral feather embellishments and asymmetrical fringe detailing. “I reserved the gold look specifically for the Oscars,” Ejae said of the look. “I feel like an Oscar statue!”
As she tries on the dress and makes the final tweaks, Ejae says her favorite element of the custom gown is its well-structured craftsmanship. “This is beautiful. Jonathan blew me away,” Ejae said. “It fit so well – I looked so in demand! Gleaming Swarovski jewelry also made her look like an A-list Oscar nominee: Ejae wore a 13.4-carat diamond necklace from the brand, as well as a pair of 9.4-carat diamond earrings.
As she looked at her final result in the mirror, Eja admitted she was still in a bit of disbelief about attending the Oscars. Still, her custom-made Dior dress certainly gave her the confidence to head into the night. “Fashion is an extension of yourself and what you want to express in those important moments,” says Ejae. “In the last seven months I’ve become a different person – more confident and I’ve learned a lot. I’m proud of myself.”
