How to Style Spring’s Hottest Sneaker Trends

For fashionable girls, a pair of stylish sneakers is a must. Luckily, spring collections provide plenty of inspiration, with just about every major designer putting their own spin on athletic pieces.

At Celine, designer Michael Rider introduced one of the season’s most eye-catching styles: slim, flat canvas shoes in pure white (also available in black and yellow). Sophisticated satin sneakers from Prada and Miu Miu add a feminine touch, while Dries Van Noten continues to iterate on fan-favorite silhouettes, offering bright styles in sequins, embroidery and Crayola this season.

Of course, no sneaker roundup would be complete without a classic. Nike, Adidas, Vans and New Balance are also following the trend. Nike’s recent collaboration with Jacquemus offers stylish cashmere joggers that are sure to sell out quickly, while adidas recently launched the Samba Jane; a unique take on the Mary Jane sneaker.

With so many choices, the styling possibilities are just as abundant. Sneakers for spring can be worn with mini dresses, bubble skirts, casual pants, or even sleek stirrup leggings. Below, we’re breaking down this season’s best pieces and how to wear them.

Our favorite vintage pieces are slimming down this season, with brands like Saint Laurent, Chloé and Proenza Schouler offering understated classic silhouettes. Nike x Jacquemus’ latest Moon shoe is a stylish runner that’s sure to be a hit in the French brand’s seasonal brown, cream and pastel hues. (Jacob Elordi and Dua Lipa are already fans of the first one.) Pair them with an equally simple mini dress and blazer.
