This shift is also reflected in denim. Rich earth tones—clay, sand, and khaki—now feel contemporary, offering an elegant, understated alternative to traditional blues. Found everywhere from Loewe, Celine and Tibi to denim brands like Ossou and Jeanerica Atelier, these earthy tones pair well with everyday neutrals and are especially appealing to minimalists.

But it’s not all dusty, pastel washes—brighter hues are getting into the conversation, too. Versace’s cobalt blue and Kallmeyer’s red bring confident pops of color, while pastels like lilac (Chloé’s lilac), blush pinks and soft blues join neutrals to offer a softer way to incorporate the trend.
