The energy was evident from the start. Fashion lovers lined up around the block – dressed to the nines, of course – in eye-catching looks that set the tone for the upcoming show. There was a feeling of anticipation in the air, that feeling of excitement at discovering something special.

It is simply a treasure trove inside. Iconic runway pieces are paired with collectible shoes and bags, each carrying its own fashion history. The challenge is not finding something to take home, but narrowing it down. Shoppers come with a strategy: Some are looking for pieces that match their wardrobe (or Spring/Summer 2026 style), others are after timeless classics. Thanks to eBay’s wide range of products, collectors of all kinds can find something for themselves. Guests walked away with their finds—and, of course, a Vogue x eBay canvas tote (arguably worth the trip). To extend the experience beyond the shopping event, each shopper receives a QR code that unlocks the vast resale market currently available on eBay, a reminder that great fashion deserves to find a second home, whether it’s in or out of your home.

After the event, we interviewed Fashion Editors come to hear what they discovered at the event and the stories behind their findings.

Libby Page, Executive Shopping Director

“I have always been a Celine shopper. Phoebe Philo, Heidi Slimane and now Michael Rider, these creative directors are definitely more my favorite designers than others (anything by Phoebe deserves a place in my wardrobe in my eyes), but it’s the Celine brand that I really admire and I’m always looking for pieces to add to my wardrobe. This Michael Kors The jacket couldn’t fit me better, I love the ladylike shape (perfect for my petite frame), the gold buckle “C” zipper gives it a luxe feel, and now I can add the Michael Kors Celine era to my Celine wardrobe – let’s have them! ”

“I was a little late to the party, but I didn’t want to leave empty-handed, so I bought a pair of orange label vintage Levi’s for $35! When I got home—lucky for me—they fit like a glove!”

Talia Abbas, Shopping Director

“When a colleague suggested that I try a vintage Celine trench coat that didn’t fit anyone else, I wanted to save the one I had and wear this one out. I had no idea what year it was, let alone the size, but somehow it felt like it was made for me, with rows of gold buttons sparkling like jewels in the sun.”
