Vogue Café Has Landed in Paris—and Burberry Kicked Things Off With a Chic Afternoon Tea

Paris Fashion Week gets a little more caffeinated as it gets underway on Wednesday. Fashion Café’s debut in France coincides with the city’s fall 2026 fashion show. After the whirlwind of London and Milan, the café and salon has opened its doors at 8 Rue de Castiglione, next to Place Vendôme (the unofficial center of fashion week, mais oui), and will be open to the public from March 5 to 7.

Toast to the opening, Fashion Welcome the trendy crowd for an afternoon of style, conversation and drinks. After live-streaming Antonin Tron’s first Balmain show in the space, Burberry popped up to host an afternoon tea with the American, British and French FashionEditorial Content Directors Chloe Malle, Chioma Nnadi and Claire Thomson-Jonville.

The guest list was as charming as the setting itself, with blooms, framed vintage posters, and a bookshelf dedicated to Fashion. Models Rosie Huntington-Whiteley (a long-time friend of the Burberry brand), Natasha Poly, Stella Hanan and Noémie Lenoir stopped by, as did a host of industry insiders including Nordstrom’s Rickie De Sole, Caro Daur and Camille Charrière, all taking a break from the non-stop pace of Paris Fashion Week.

The afternoon was a quintessential Parisian café experience – fueled by the buzz of caffeine and show freshness. At bistro-style tables and chairs, guests sip tea, coffee and matcha from Burberry cups, customized by the waiter Fashion apron. Collagen smoothies and detox juices are also popular, while chocolate and almond cookies appeal to those in need of a sugar boost to get them through their next event. And champagne, because naturally there’s a lot to celebrate.

Coinciding with launch Fashion Burberry Café is also celebrating its 170th anniversary at its outpost in the city. Share space with international version Fashion Dotted around the room, the Burberry catalog highlights the brand’s “Portraits of an Icon” campaign, which saw stars including Daisy Edgar-Jones, Kristin Scott Thomas, Little Simz, Karen Elson and Kate Moss wearing the historic trench coat

The celebrations have just begun. Over the next three days, visitors can head to Chateau Voltaire to sample coffee, tea and pastries and browse a selection of books, magazines and merchandise. There will also be a series of exclusive shows. Highlights include: Louis Vuitton’s Pharrell Williams in conversation with Thomson-Jonville; Moulin Rouge! Director Baz Luhrmann and Condé Nast Chief Content Officer and Global Editorial Director Anna Wintour Fashion. Other talks will include Alexander Samson, head of the haute couture department at the Galliera Museum, journalist and literary critic Isabelle Losolari and Fanny Schulman, curator of the upcoming Lee Miller retrospective at the Museum of Modern Art in Paris.

There are more gigs and demos over the course of a week than anyone can reasonably handle before drinking espresso, Fashion The café offers the ultimate fashion month luxury: a place to stop, debrief and refuel. Whether you’re a local, in town for a show, or just passing through the neighborhood, head to the 8 Rue de Castiglione space from Thursday to Saturday…Have fun and return!
