Vietnam sends congratulations to North Korea’s high-ranking leaders

Hanoi – President Yang Zhong called Kim Jong Un on Tuesday to congratulate him on his re-election as Chairman of the State Council of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea at the first session of the 15th Supreme People’s Assembly.

On this occasion, Prime Minister Pham Myung Jung of the Vietnamese government also called Park Tae Sung to congratulate him on his re-election as Prime Minister of the North Korean Cabinet.

Chairman of the National Assembly Chen Qingman sent a congratulatory message to Zhao Yongyuan, congratulating Zhao Yongyuan on his election as Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Supreme People’s Assembly of North Korea and Chairman of the Supreme People’s Assembly.

On the same day, Foreign Minister Li Huaizhong congratulated Choe Son Hui on her re-election as North Korean Foreign Minister.

According to KCNA, the first meeting of the 15th Supreme People’s Assembly, in addition to personnel matters, also reviewed the revision and supplement of the Constitution, the implementation of the five-year plan for national economic development formulated by the Ninth Congress of the Workers’ Party of Korea, the implementation of the 2025 national budget and the discussion of the 2026 budget.
