Interstellar (2014)
Christopher Nolan’s sci-fi epic centers on a former NASA pilot (Matthew McConaughey) who is recruited to travel into space to find other habitable planets. Chalamet plays his son, which also gave him the opportunity to star alongside acting legend John Lithgow. Although filming lasted only 10 days, the young actor spent several months on set with the cast, which included Jessica Chastain, Anne Hathaway, Matt Damon and Casey Affleck (the latter plays Chalamet’s older self).
