Chalamet posed on the red carpet with director Josh Safdie and the film’s co-writer, editor and producer Ronald Bronstein – Safdie and Bronstein also… emulated… the nostalgic vibe, wearing coffee-colored suits of their own, with Safdie sporting a geometric tie.
While many of Chalamet’s publicity outings have skewed toward streetwear (including a rainbow of nylon movie-merchandise jackets and flame-licked Uggs), his red carpet looks have lately leaned more towards Mauser, with softer tones and decadent shapes.
The press tour costumes (designed, as always, by Taylor MacNeil) have been delightfully freewheeling, but still hard at work on the narrative and storytelling—it’s a long road to the Oscars, but Timothée Chalamet gave it his all.
