Also known as “paris, texas “Bob,” the thick bob remains popular. It’s easy to see why: This bob shape can suit any vibe, whether you’re glam like Zendaya at Prada or prefer a more casual, eclectic feel like Gigi Hadid.
“I still think bobs are really important,” says hairstylist Luke Hirschson, who has done the hair of just about everyone from Keira Knightley to Victoria Beckham and Sienna Miller. “The common theme is that they’re all very chunky, a little hacked, a little imperfect,” he said, “like Nastassja Kinski in paris, texas…that very thick bob that feels a little bit lived-in without feeling too shaved, mixed with natural, untouched texture to make it feel modern. “
