Sneakers are the only shoes I wear in the airport, and these Salomons have quickly become my go-to. They’re neutral enough to match the most basic of outfits, but add the perfect pop of color and they instantly become more interesting. While my current vacation plans mainly involve lying on the beach, it’s nice to know I’m prepared in case of a spontaneous hike.

I have an almost pathological obsession with Wales Bonner x Adidas sneakers – I still have a (now worn) pair of teal and brown SL72s from the first collection of 2020, and I must have picked up six or seven different styles in the years since. To me, they are the perfect airplane shoe—super comfortable and easy to pull off, but stylish enough to not look sloppy. There’s no better travel shoe than retro sneakers.
