Dr. Trinity Santos may be off work tonight, but Isa Briones is in attendance to attend the 2026 SAG Actors Awards. Pete The star was nominated along with her cast mates for Outstanding Performance by an Actor in a Drama Series. Although Briones admits she tries not to take the honors too seriously.
“That’s a fascinating and cool part of it, but we also need to be grounded in the work we’re doing, especially because this is an important story about the struggles of underrepresented populations and health care professionals,” Briones said Fashion. Still, she and the cast have a shorthand for celebrating their wins. “We also have a group chat where we all jump on and say, ‘Yeah!’ We don’t even have to say what it is — it’s just, ‘Yeah!’”
Tonight, Briones will ditch the black scrubs and show off her retro style. For the first time ever, the Actors Awards asked attendees to look back to the 1920s and 1930s. Briones chose the former. Introduction? “Vampiric 1920s, but classy and fresh,” she said Fashion.

A die-hard vintage fan, she was ready to dig through her archives for the occasion. She and stylist Kat Typaldos chose a coral Roberto Cavalli slip, which she paired with a sheer black Blumarine dress with floral appliqués—both from Archive X Yana. “Isa genuinely loves vintage and so do I, so it just made sense to have this real synergy and a real appreciation for vintage,” Typaldos said.
To complete the look, the stylist sourced a few “little things” to complete the look, including a black floral lace fabric belt, Christian Louboutin shoes, Dior necklace (also from Yana) and Beladora jewelry. “It’s vintage style from head to toe,” says Typaldos. A playful look is exactly what Briones wanted to convey with her fashion choices. “Because I’m new, I want to express who I am,” she said. “That’s my favorite thing about working with Kat – we get to create and put things together. Obviously, it’s great to represent a brand and I’d love to do that one day, but right now it’s a cool place where you can be really creative with what you put together.”
While Briones admits that she and Patrick Bauer (who plays her nemesis Dr. Frank Langdon) are the usual after-party instigators, she’s not sure what to expect the night after the Actors Awards. “Well, I’m flying to Paris the next day. My partner is an ambassador for Dior and I’m going to a fashion show with him, so I can’t get too crazy,” she said. Still, being the conscientious actor she is, she’s ready to stir up a bit of mischief. “We’ll find something to do,” she said, laughing. “I have a feeling that Patrick and I might be calling in the army to do something crazy.”
