Pieter Mulier is leaving Alaïa.
The Belgian designer worked closely with Dior, Jil Sander and Calvin Klein’s Raf Simons before taking the reins in 2021. Following the death of Azzedine Alaïa in 2017, Mulier was appointed as the first creative director. (He was recognized by those closest to the late designer; Alaïa’s muse Naomi Campbell presented Mulier with the International Award at the 2025 CFDA Awards.)
Known for its futuristic, sexy and sculptural designs, Mulier’s Alaïa has become a favorite among fashion-forward celebrities.
