Thai ex-PM Thaksin flying from Dubai to Singapore, set to return to Thailand today

Bangkok – On the evening of September 4, 2025, former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra left Thailand on his private jet T7GTS, initially listed as Singapore before moving to Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

On September 5, around 2.40am in Bangkok time, Thaksin posted a doctor’s examination on his personal X account for traveling abroad, performing medical examinations with doctors who had been treated overseas before. He stressed that he intends to return to Thailand in the “14th Floor Case” on September 9 to appear in court on September 8.

According to the latest reports, Thaksin plans to leave Dubai on the same private jet T7GTS tonight at 9pm, heading to Singapore first and then continuing to Bangkok. He is expected to arrive in Thailand on Monday, September 8, 2025 at 5pm.
