Today, designer Matthieu Blazy debuted Chanel’s Fall 2026 ready-to-wear collection in Paris, filled with exciting new takes on the French brand’s signature tweeds and dresses. Even better, for this show, the palatial Grand Palais is transformed into a chic construction zone, complete with giant colorful cranes. (The show was a celebration of “works in progress,” hence the themed collection.) After all, when this is a Chanel show, the space is always Dramatic and legendary—like Blazy transforming an abandoned New York City subway station into his pre-fall venue.
Meanwhile, the front row at Blazy’s talk today has its own unique view. Stars like Margot Robbie (who debuted a new bob!), Jennie, Teyana Taylor, Oprah, Kylie Minogue, Gemini, Olivia Deen and more all showed up to the lavish event, all dressed in their best Chanel, of course.
Models like Paloma Elsesser favored classic dresses uptown by Chanel, while other attendees took a more unexpected route, like Robbie in a sheer tank top and gauzy trousers from the Spring 2026 Haute Couture collection, or Lily Rose-Depp in a full animal-print Metiers d’art ensemble. Jennie even wore a completely transparent mesh skirt suit: the perfect combination of old Chanel and new Chanel.
Considering the guest list, Fashion There was just a need to capture more of the front row action, so we hired photographer German Larkin to document the celebrities in those VIP seats. Continue below to watch all the candid moments Larkin captured between the stars. (Come for the Teyana-Margot hug, stay for the Oprah-Kelly meet-and-greet.)
