The university integrates academic, clinical practice, research and biopharmaceutical output.
Samyoung University, a subsidiary of Samyoung General Hospital Group, was established on December 30, 2025 in accordance with the signed decision, the hospital group announced in a LinkedIn post.
With an initial investment of approximately US$95 million (VND2.5t), the university offers medicine, pharmacy, nursing, medical laboratory technology and biotechnology as well as other fields such as information technology, management, international business, law and marketing.
Located in Tay Ninh Province, Vietnam, the university aims to meet the country’s demand for high-quality healthcare by integrating education, clinical practice, scientific research, vaccination, and the production of vaccines and biologics.
The organization cited research design and data governance training in partnership with the University of Oxford, and while enrollment is set to begin in 2027, international standards projects have already begun.
Practical medical training takes place directly in high-tech hospitals and medical centers within the Tam Anh General Hospital Group in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
Tam Anh School of Pharmacy has also established links with the Vietnam Vaccine Company Vaccine Factory and other nationwide vaccination networks, while its curriculum is updated through collaborations with world-leading institutions.
