It’s worth mentioning: The best winter movies aren’t necessarily about the holidays. In the weird lazy week between Christmas and New Year’s, it’s entirely possible to watch something that’s chilly fun but has absolutely nothing to do with Santa or Hanukkah gels or poinsettias or presents. You’re not even the Grinch if you do: there are movies set in winter that are too Just a very good movie,period. Here, some of our favorites:
