See the Spring 2026 Couture Through Two Artists’ Eyes

The fashion world has never been busier as Copenhagen’s Fall 2026 ready-to-wear show overlaps with the Spring 2026 Haute Couture season – a season in which Christian Dior’s Jonathan Anderson, Chanel’s Matthieu Blazy and Armani Privé’s Silvana Armani all launched haute couture for the first time. The faster the industry accelerates, the greater the influence of fashion illustration. Sisters Jacky Marshall and Blue Farrier once again took on the task of drawing fashion for Vogue Runway.

They use ink and paper to capture texture, atmosphere, gesture and movement. We can see how Farrier amplifies Chanel’s green drop earrings, and we can feel Marshall’s excitement about the fluttering bow on her Valentino gown. In addition to choosing the look they wanted for their paintings, both artists also put their own spin on their work. Farrell’s graphic drawings are made with opaque ink on thick absorbent paper, recording the presence of the brush. Marshall went for a more watery line to capture movement, and the colors she chose were like candy. As artificial intelligence invades every aspect of fashion, eyes and hands have never been more important.
