Sarah Pidgeon isn’t afraid of post-cry selfies. “I’m definitely going to take some pictures after I’m done crying because when you take the pictures out, you cry harder,” she said, mimicking her usual pose.
Although the 29-year-old actor admitted she hasn’t done it in a while, the ritual proved to be a surprising source of inspiration for her spring look. “I think the way your eyes look when you cry is so beautiful, so I like to take a little blush and put it on my eyes,” Pidgeon says, dabbing product from Rhode Pocket Blush onto the lids with her fingers. Her choice of color? Teacup is the raspberry pink iteration of the brand she launched last month, along with Candy Apple and two peptide lip treatments (more on that later).
“My attraction to blush has changed since going blonde,” she shared. Pidgeon – She reckons her transformation from brunette to sexy blonde will take a long time Love Story: John F. Her hair isn’t the only thing she’s retained from her CBK days. After contouring her lips with Rhode’s Peptide Lip Shaper (she likes to emphasize the corners of her mouth so her smile looks bigger), Pidgeon reached for Rom&nd’s Juicy Lasting Tint (a product she said she picked up from set) and applied it to the center of her lips. She then completed her lip combo by applying a few drops of Rhode Peptide Lip Treatment in Pretzel. (“It smells so good!” she added.)
But beyond beauty, “I hope all of her incredible qualities rub off on me,” Pidgeon said, adding, “I think how grateful I am to be her embodiment.”
