Happy Thursday! Here’s a roundup of the moves and shakers in the art trade this week.
- Thaddaeus Ropac will open project space in New York: The gallery has also hired Emilio Steinberger as senior director of the United States. Steinberg previously served as senior partner at Lévy Gorvy Dayan.
- Hauser & Wirth takes on Connie Meyer: The German-born, Portugal-based artist joins the gallery in partnership with Société Berlin.
- Zippora Elders Tahalele appointed director of the Netherlands Museum of Photography: The curator will lead the museum’s strategic and artistic direction starting April 13. She will join a dual-board leadership structure alongside a yet-to-be-named business director.
- Tulsa Artists Fellowship announces 2026-28 cohort: As part of the program’s three-year residency, ten interdisciplinary artists and arts workers will each receive more than $230,000 in funding, housing and resources to live and work in Tulsa.
- ADAA appoints four new board members: Elizabeth Feld, Bridget Moore, Yancey Richardson and Melissa Timarchi have joined the board of directors of the organization, which represents more than 200 art galleries.
