Robert A.M. Stern, Designer That Changed Prewar Grandeur, Passes Away at 86 

He made galleries, institutions, and collections, and in his later years, his layout of 15 Central Park West in Manhattan was hailed as the renewal of deluxe apartment and won global honor.
