Femxphotographers.org is a non-hierarchical collective of womxn and non-binary artists dedicated to increasing the visibility of female and non-binary photographers. The collective exists to combat structural exclusion within the field of photography and create space for historically marginalized voices. It operates without hierarchy and is guided by care, accountability and shared responsibility.

Its work is inherently political. Bringing visibility to female and non-binary photographers means actively questioning and challenging the patriarchal systems that shape cultural production and perpetuate inequality, exclusion and violence. The collective understands visibility as a form of resistance and solidarity. Visibility is political. Unity is practice. To care is to resist.
