After an unprecedented spring 2026 fashion season that saw designers making appearances, Paris Fashion Week may seem quieter this time around. But there’s still a lot to look forward to.
After hosting three debuts in Milan, the French capital will host one of its own: Antonin Tron at Balmain. The Atlein founder will launch his first collection for the heritage brand on March 4. The stakes are high as insiders await whether the new collection will break with the bold, sophisticated aesthetic of Olivier Rousteing’s 14-year tenure at the brand.
Another highlight was Pieter Mulier’s final show at Alaïa before taking over as chief creative officer of Versace in July. His successor has yet to be determined.
Attention will also be focused on the sophomore events following the last season: Jonathan Anderson at Dior (March 3), Mark Thomas at Carven (March 5), Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez’s co-ed presentation at Loewe (March 6), Miguel Castro Freitas at Mugler (also March 6), Pierpaolo Piccioli at Balenciaga (March 7), Duran Jean Lantink by Paul Gaultier (March 8) and Chanel by Matthieu Blazy (March 9). Chanel is the most watched fashion show fashion show For SS26, efforts will be made to defend its status.
In total, the 26th season of Paris Fashion Week, which will be held from March 2 to 10, will feature 67 ready-to-wear shows and 31 conferences, while the Autumn/Winter 2025 Fashion Week will have 71 fashion shows and 37 conferences. As per tradition, the week kicks off with the Institut Française de la Fashion (IFM) show, where the graduating master’s class will present their final fashion design projects. Other highlights include Saint Laurent, Givenchy, Celine, Courrèges, Tom Ford, Dries Van Noten, Lacoste, Louis Vuitton, Victoria Beckham, Hermès, McQueen, Gabriela Hearst and Miu Miu.
“I’m really looking forward to Saint Laurent, Alaïa and Chanel,” said Tiffany Hsu, chief merchandising officer at Mytheresa. “I’m always excited to see what Saint Laurent creative director Anthony Vaccarello brings each season. At Alaïa, we all want to see something special for Pieter Mulier’s farewell show. And at Chanel, what Matthieu Blazy has done so far is inspiring – and the pieces he will show during this PFW will definitely set the trend for next season.”
Off-White will return to the Paris fashion show on March 5 after last season’s New York fashion show. Ukrainian brand Litkovska and Georgian brand Situationist join the official fashion show schedule for the first time, and Co, Eenk and Time will also make their debuts as planned.
On March 4, Loulou de Saison, the brand founded by Chloé Harrouche in 2019, will hold its third season official calendar launch.
French brand Jitrois, known for its stretch leathers, will launch its first collection designed by new co-creative directors Tristan Van Bruwaene and Jay Wilson on March 6. Jean-Claude Jitrois, who founded the brand in 1980 and remains artistic director, announced the appointment on February 25. “I remain the keeper of the brand’s ethos, but I’m proud to see our tribe ready to write its next chapter,” the designer said in a statement.
Not going according to plan
“The exciting thing about Paris Fashion Week is that once you get there, there are so many talks, events and parties,” says fashion consultant Julie Gilhart. “It provides a lot of energy on top of an already dynamic week. Someone needs to do a schedule that goes beyond what was planned.”
