A new dawn is coming. The planets are moving in very exciting ways this year, and from an astrological perspective this will cause quite a bit of a jolt, both personally and politically. The first sign is the New Moon in Capricorn on January 19 – the first major celestial event of the year.
Capricorn is an earth sign that represents the forces that run through society—it symbolizes dominance, strong leadership, and stability. It also represents the hierarchical and vertical relationships in society, as well as the political and economic structures that develop over time. At the same time, the new moon also symbolizes the beginning of things. Arguably, this is the starting point. Therefore, we can expect significant changes to the old rules.
This New Moon in Capricorn will occur at 4:52 AM. January 19th. Immediately afterwards, the Moon will begin to enter Aquarius. It will be close to Pluto, which is waiting at the entrance to the constellation Aquarius. Pluto is considered a planet of “destruction and rebirth,” giving us the power to destroy the existing world and create a new one from scratch. Its stay in Aquarius further enhances the power of this renewal. This is because Aquarius is the sign of novelty, which often means creating something groundbreaking, breaking existing boundaries and transcending traditional systems.
But what makes this year especially The transformative aspect is that it will occur in conjunction with a high-impact planetary transit of Saturn and Uranus. On February 14th, coinciding with Valentine’s Day, the planet of change will enter Aries. Then, on April 26, Uranus, the planet of change, enters Gemini. In more understandable terms, Saturn will present many new challenges over the next two and a half years, while Uranus will take about seven years to create new systems and worlds.
