The LNG facility is part of a US$3.7 billion integrated development in Pulau Bunting in the northwest Malaysian state of Kedah, which includes a power plant and an LNG terminal. The project is backed by billionaire Syed Mokthar Albukhary’s flagship MMC Corp.
