Von Bonin filled the space with an abundance of critters. Among them are an elegant black octopus, a pair of clams poking out of their shells, and a majestic orca. But perhaps the biggest star of the show is a sleepy blue whale, lounging on a bench. His lucky seatmate? Actor Hari Nef named him “Humberto.”
“I think I summoned ‘Humberto’ from the ether,” Neff said Fashion Inspiration for her name. But she eventually changed her mind. “I switched to ‘Antonio,’ which is more popular in Andalusia,” she said. “I want it real!”

Von Bonin’s work inspired McCollough and Hernandez’s second Loewe collection, both imbued with humor and playfulness. “Through our conversations [with von Bonin]”, she came up with the idea of creating a unique piece of art for the show,” the design duo wrote in the show notes. “On the Autumn/Winter 2026 runways, these iconic sea creatures and canines appeared in a range of fabrics and dark tones, simultaneously invading
space and share seats as friendly spectators. ” We bet their neighbors didn’t mind.
