Kendall Jenner and Rihanna Have Called It: Tiger Print Is So Back

While leopard print has long been ubiquitous, and cow and deer prints are experiencing something of a renaissance, tiger print feels more reviled. However, if you cast your sights on the spring 2026 shows of Alaïa, Gucci and Chopova Lowena, you will find that tiger print has quietly appeared.

Rihanna has also put her own spin on the pattern, having long been a fan of animal prints. While out and about in New York, Rih wore a tiger-print wool-blend jacquard coat by Alaïa (Rih’s all-time favorite designer), paired with tiger-print calf hair pumps from the same French brand, and that’s about it. She wore fire engine red lips, her hair in a loose bun, a face-framing piece, a Bryony Raymond gold necklace, and angular, oversized black sunglasses. Unlike Jenner, who is more minimalist, Rih leans more towards the minimalist vibe of the ’80s.

Seeing Rihanna and Kendall Jenner’s very personal take on the tiger print trend, are we inching closer to animal print as a true neutral?
